Tech Diplomacy — Slovenian Business Delegation
Held under the patronage of H.E. Philippe Ziade and in partnership with AmCham Slovenia and DM Global Consulting, GEMS World Dialogue hosted a 25-member Slovenian Business Delegation of CEOs and founders working in AI, robotics, clean technology and advanced industry. Across five panels — from digital diplomacy to cybersecurity and emerging-technology governance — the session examined how technology is reshaping diplomatic strategy and enabling new forms of global collaboration.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium Delegation at Otonomus
GEMS World Dialogue welcomed the leadership of Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium — the first professional stadium to earn LEED Platinum certification — to Otonomus, the world's first AI-powered hotel. The visit brought together two benchmarks in sustainability: the stadium's zero-waste, solar-powered playbook and Otonomus's intelligent, lower-footprint operation, mapping both directly to UN Sustainable Development Goals 12, 7, 6, 4 and 17.
WIN Network Launch
Inside Otonomus Las Vegas, GEMS launched the Women-Led Investment Network (WIN) under the patronage of H.E. Philippe Ziade, who unveiled the WIN Monument. Backed by Nevada's Lieutenant Governor and representatives for the state's U.S. Senators and Congress members, WIN was built to bypass institutional gatekeepers and give high-impact, women-led projects direct access to capital under UN Sustainable Development Goal 5.
GEMS World Dialogue Beverly Hills 2026 — Launch
At Beverly Hills City Hall, GEMS World Dialogue Beverly Hills 2026 officially launched with a blunt promise: bring 50 nations into a single, outcome-driven pipeline to accelerate the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Anchored by the LAU Adnan Kassar School of Business and the UN PRME framework, the launch introduced a public accountability engine — a transparent scorecard of deliverables paired with a documentary that follows results project by project, country by country.
AKSOB Joins GEMS — "From Ideas to Global Impact"
At the LAU Beirut campus, the Adnan Kassar School of Business (AKSOB), VIPMINDS (led by CEO Nora Abou Chakra) and Growth Holdings (led by CEO Philippe Ziade) signed a three-year memorandum of understanding establishing AKSOB as a strategic execution partner in GEMS World Dialogue Beverly Hills 2026. The agreement connects students, researchers and global leaders across 50 countries, centered on identifying "SDG Guardians" — individuals driving progress toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals in their communities — through the UN PRME network. It also launches Impact Talks, a co-branded podcast hosted and operated by AKSOB to amplify the initiative's reach. Dean Dima Jamali framed the collaboration as pairing "a locally rooted school" with global relevance, while Special Envoy Philippe Ziade cast GEMS as the platform uniting business, government, civic organizations and academia to turn vision into execution.
World Robot Olympiad — WRO Lebanon 2026
The World Robot Olympiad is one of the world's largest youth robotics competitions — founded in 2004 and active in more than 90 countries, drawing over 70,000 student participants each year. GEMS partnered with its Lebanon edition, WRO Lebanon 2026, held at the Rashid Karami International Fair in Tripoli under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Kamal Shehadeh, Minister of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence. The event convened more than 450 student competitors aged 6 to 22, alongside 300+ coaches, judges and exhibitors and a Technology & STEM exhibition. GEMS documented youth innovation across robotics, AI and digital learning, spotlighting how the next generation advances the Sustainable Development Goals.
United Nations "AI for All" Conference
Held at the United Nations in Geneva, the "AI for All" conference convened a global conversation on making artificial intelligence inclusive, ethical and accessible to every nation. GEMS World Dialogue participated and lent its support through Rabih Chehade, CEO and founder of the Slangit AI platform — carrying its Artificial Intelligence Diplomacy message that the benefits of AI must reach beyond the few who build it, and be measured against the Sustainable Development Goals rather than merely promised.
Global Powerful Women — Empowerment Private Dinner
An invitation-only dinner convening women leaders from business, culture and public life, hosted in partnership with Global Powerful Women. The evening advanced GEMS's commitment to Goal 5 — building the relationships, mentorship and capital access that move gender equality from principle to practice, and strengthening the network of women shaping the initiative's diplomacy panels.
